After discovering the internet in 1994, a whole new world opened up for me. During my high school years I developed a strong interest in design and programming. I fine-tuned my abilities so well that I started my own company, The Works Art & Design, developing websites for small- and medium-sized businesses. A couple of years later I developed a user-friendly Content Management System that is still being used by the clients. After school, I quickly found work with the advertising agency Clavis, in Lund as a programmer and web designer. I excelled, taking on increased responsibility for designs and creative work, which provided me with new assignments as an art director assistant. While at Clavis I also discovered Macromedia Flash, which allowed me to create animation and homepages based on a timeline. With Flash 4 came the possibility of connecting Flash to databases and together with a friend, I established the Flash community Communen.com. It began with the purpose of showing the possibilities of Flash and a back-end system, and evolved into a place to collect Scandinavia’s Flash elite. When Communen.com was closed in 2006 due to a lack of time, we had 15,000 members. In 2005 I came to IKEA Communications in Älmhult. At IKEA Communications I was involved with developing and producing IKEA’s global homepage; as an art director. I worked with everything from campaigns to developing the new homepage with communication platforms and graphic framework in the form of navigation and icons, an interest that has continued to grow stronger. In mid 2008 I decided to make a move from IKEA Communications and Malmö to Dallas STHLM in Stockholm. Here I've been working as an art director with campaigns and larger websites for the main brands in Sweden.
